Japanese cormorants migrating in a formation flight skimming along a surface of calmed down sea

�@At Unomisaki Ibaraki prefecture in the migration season, we can observe the cormorants in a formation flight that migrate close by the surface of calmed down sea. Unomisaki is the only one place in Japan where the cormorants used in the fishing with cormorants have been captured.
The skimming flight over a water surface is able to obtain the surface effect and to avoid automatically the collision with the water surface. It is the special skill that the water fowls have been comprehended. (Prod. May 2008, scale 1/2, No.1)
