Migrating Japanese quail

@A Japanese quail is the same order as a cock and the same species as a Japanese pheasant. Thus it appears that the migration might be difficult, though it is known as a migrating bird.
The large ratio of the open wing length and the full length, the large aspect ratio compared with a Japanese pheasant, the sharply shaped wing, the small stature body and its weight have made possible the migration. Though it is impossible to move a distance at a breath, it may be possible by using several intermediate short stays and also by making use of a fair wind or an ascending current, which occur locally and timely. The quail's camouflage color, the quick flying off, and the various kinds of foods suggest the evolution to accommodate themselves to the various conditions in the intermediate short stays. (Prod.
