Owl in silent somewhat accelerating glide at the ambush hunting



@The relatively slow gliding, possible due to the relatively small load per wing area, does not generate the frictional and contacting sound inter feathers accompanied with the beating and the folding-spreading of the wing.
@The comb-like rough down at the leading edge of primaries, the fine long down at the tip of secondaries and the tail, the fine long down over the wing and the body should keep the weak turbulent boundary layer and should suppress the occurrence of separating vortexes and strong turbulence. It looks like that the murmuring of a stream is extinguished by growing algae.
